Once-flowering or Repeat-flowering?
CAUTION!!
. Some Old Roses, officially described as once-flowering, have in recent years become repeat-flowering due to climatic changes - see our notes with the individual descriptions
. Repeat-flowering Old Roses do not always have the finest blooms, the strongest perfumes, or the hardiness, disease resistance and versatility of use associated with the once-flowering varieties
. Naturally, these considerations may be outweighed for a smaller garden where continuity of colour is dependent on the roses
. We will present you with both the once-flowering and repeat-flowering varieties that meet your other requirements for you to give further consideration to the question, if need be
